The blessing of the Easter baskets”, is one of the most enduring and beloved Ukrainian traditions on Holy Saturday during Easter.
Our aged care residents, their families, staff and members of the board were honoured that SBS World News visited and filmed the ceremony at the Kalyna Care Chapel. During the interview the reporter spoke with Bishop Mykola Bychok, our board member Roman Chamula and Professor Marco Pavlyshyn with 102-year-old mother Alexandra. It was a special event.
